Unified AV & Communications
Integration with Existing Systems
Designed a new IP-based communications solution for a new middle school, then extended it to upper and lower schools to standardize the platform.
Deployed AtlasIED IP-SDM endpoints with LCDs in classrooms and dual-sided IP-DDS displays in hallways for audio and visual messaging.
Used AtlasIED IP-ZCM gateways to bridge IPX endpoints with legacy analog systems and new outdoor analog horns, enabling campus-wide coverage.

THE RESULTS
By replacing disparate, analog bells, clocks, and loudspeakers with an IP-centric system, TCA gained centralized management for daily and emergency communications across all buildings.
AtlasIED IPX endpoints integrate directly with Singlewire InformaCast, enabling synchronized visual and audio alerts, bell schedules, pre-recorded and scheduled announcements, and intercom features. IP-to-analog gateways preserved investments in existing analog infrastructure while extending coverage to outdoor areas via new analog horns.
Staff now benefit from a modern paging interface and significantly clearer audio, and the campus has a robust system that can scale as TCA’s needs evolve. As James Burrows, AV Manager at Superior Fiber & Data Services, notes, TCA now has “a robust system that can grow with them over time as the school’s needs evolve.”
